Kemper is one of the nation’s leading specialized insurers, and they are seeking a Data Transformation Intern for Summer 2025. This internship will provide students with the opportunity to work on special projects that positively impact the business and customers, while gaining exposure to various aspects of data analytics and project management.
Responsibilities
Understand how data is used to meet business needs.
Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
Work across business areas, data, and technology to drive alignment on data definitions.
Gain exposure to the full data lifecycle to support large-scale business objectives.
Drive change through project management, technology improvements, and strategic initiatives.
Qualification
Required
Junior or Senior status enrolled at: University of Chicago, Northwestern University, University of Wisconsin-Madison or University of Notre Dame.
Qualifying majors in an academic area related to financial services or insurance industry, such as, finance, data analytics, communications, accounting, or business administration.
Non-business majors are welcome if strong interest in financial services and/or insurance industry.
A minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale.
This position is a hybrid role and may require work in the office 3-4 days a week.
