They are seeking a Data Science Operations Project Intern to support complex business scenarios by building and optimizing data workflows and analytics pipelines, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Support complex business and operational scenarios by building and optimizing data workflows, analytics pipelines, and operational monitoring systems to improve efficiency and scalability
Explore and implement Agent-based AI workflows, prompt engineering strategies, and LLM-powered analytics solutions to support intelligent business operations and data-driven decision-making
Participate in end-to-end AI operational projects, including data collection, annotation workflow optimization, model evaluation, experimentation, and deployment support
Analyze operational and quality metrics to identify trends, root causes, and optimization opportunities across AI/data pipelines
Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Scientists, Product Managers, Engineering, Operations, and global stakeholders in a highly collaborative English-speaking environment
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or related quantitative fields
Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python or R for data analysis, automation, or modeling
Familiarity with Excel, data analytics workflows, and large-scale data processing tools such as Hive or Spark
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional environments
Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period
Preferred
Prior internship or project experience in data science, analytics, AI operations, business intelligence, or technical program/project management
Familiarity with machine learning concepts, LLMs, prompt engineering, Agent workflows, or AI evaluation methodologies
Experience with experimentation, operational analytics, quality measurement, or annotation/labeling workflows is a plus
Comfortable working in a cross-functional and multicultural global environment
Available to work at least 4 days per week for 3+ months
