They are seeking a Data Science Intern to support projects related to ground-based mobile satellite communication systems and radio frequency engineering, providing mentorship and hands-on experience in Configuration Management.
Responsibilities
Assist in reviewing and preparing data for integration into PLM Tool
Apply CM principles in areas of engineering structures
Validate internal and vendor part numbers
Provide latest versions of documents and drawings for engineering
Review document formatting, spelling and grammar
Communicate and collaborate with other engineering disciplines, manufacturing personnel, management, vendors, customers, and subcontractors
Support engineering documentation, i.e., drawings, project specifications, procedures, test data and results
Abide by company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks
Must hold a valid driver’s license and have the ability to obtain a US DOD security clearance
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. citizen and have valid documentation
Must be currently enrolled at, or have recently graduated from, an ABET accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor's of Science
Must hold a valid driver's license and have the ability to obtain a US DOD security clearance
Preferred
Basic knowledge of Configuration Management and PLM tools
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
