The Oregon Department of Transportation provides a safe and reliable multimodal transportation system, and they are seeking a Data Intern to support the Office of Equity and Civil Rights. This internship offers hands-on experience in data analysis and integrity, allowing the intern to collaborate with the data team and contribute to equity initiatives.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with OECR’s Data Manager to design and document a data review process.
Review form data in the CRCT database for completeness and accuracy.
Document and present review findings internally (and potentially externally).
Build a Power BI report to track and visualize data import errors.
Qualification
Required
We are accepting applications from college students in their freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year.
Preferred
An interest in the study of statistics, computer science, data science, or any major that involves training in quantitative data analysis.
Interest in data analysis and data integrity.
Experience with SQL, Microsoft Excel or other data tools.
Experience effectively communicating, verbal and written.
