The Coca-Cola Company is undergoing a digital transformation in its Technology organization, aiming to connect products with customers through world-class technology. As a Data Engineering Intern, you will assist in building data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and performing analysis to enhance reporting and decision-making.
Responsibilities
Assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines using PySpark, SQL, and Python
Support ingestion of data from various enterprise systems
Perform data validation, quality checks, and monitoring to ensure data reliability
Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues
Participate in data modeling, performance tuning, and optimization efforts
Contribute to documentation of data workflows, pipelines, and technical standards
Occasionally support lightweight web development tasks for internal dashboards or tools
Qualification
Required
Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree or have graduated from their degree program no earlier than December 2025
Focus in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
Proficiency in Python and SQL
Working knowledge or coursework experience with PySpark and distributed data processing
Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data modeling, and relational databases
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, global environment
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
Preferred
Prior internship, academic projects, or relevant coursework in data engineering, software development, or analytics preferred
Exposure to cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, is a plus
Basic web development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or similar) are a plus
