TalentAlly is a job board for diverse professionals, and they are seeking a Data and Business Analyst Intern. The intern will work closely with all functional departments to support business analytics and performance improvement initiatives by capturing and analyzing business performance data.
Responsibilities
Capture and analyze performance data from various business segments.
Identify anomalies, trends, and areas for improvement from the data.
Review and update Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each business segment.
Conduct research and prepare reports (as applicable) that support recommendations.
Identify and recommend practical business solutions to key stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement efforts by helping to lead or assisting in business process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data and identified initiatives.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in a degree program with an emphasis in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Exceptional verbal, written or interpersonal communication skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, work in teams, and be flexible within a fast-paced and changing environment.
Analytical Thinking: Analyzes basic situations.
Attention to Detail: Monitors and verifies the work of others for accuracy and completeness.
Improving Business Processes: Learns and executes improvements to business processes, identifying opportunities for improvements.
Problem Solving: Effectively solves routine problems using standard analytical methods.
Teamwork: Works collaboratively with others to achieve shared goals.
Preferred
Experience with Tableau or other data analysis/statistical tools a plus.
