Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Data Analytics Intern to support cost-reduction and IT performance analytics initiatives. The role focuses on sourcing, integrating, and analyzing operational data to improve cost visibility and reduce manual reporting while delivering immediate operational value.
Responsibilities
Source and normalize operational data from multiple enterprise systems
Integrate labor, ticket, and application data to support cost attribution
Develop analytics dashboards to support cost reduction initiatives
Create standardized scorecards to track cost reduction progress
Build and maintain IT service performance dashboards
Automate recurring data refresh and reporting processes
Document data definitions, assumptions, and analytics logic
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required Currently enrolled toward a degree
Strong PC skills (Windows, MS Office, MS Project, MS Excel) intermediate required
Power BI – data models, measures, dashboards
Alteryx – data preparation, transformation, workflows
Power Automate – automation of recurring processes
SharePoint – data storage and documentation
API-based data extraction (API Gateway, logs)
General database skills – queries, joins, formulas, transformations
