Cadent specializes in marketing and advertising technology, and they are seeking a Data and Analytics Intern for Summer 2025. The intern will gain hands-on experience with campaign data, build cloud-based ETL pipelines, and present a capstone project to leadership.
Responsibilities
Automate recurring reporting processes using SQL, Python, Cloud Based services
Assist in the development and maintenance of ETL pipelines
Research and surface 'Did You Know?' insights based on executed campaigns
Partner with the analytics team to validate, QA, and visualize data
Document workflows, create knowledge articles, and contribute to team wikis
Explore usage of tools like AWS, GCP, Git, and Terraform for automation
Attend team meetings, daily standups, and sprint reviews
Collaborate cross-functionally with Infrastructure, CloudOps, and Support teams on modernization efforts
Qualification
Required
Current junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field
Able to commit to a full-time (40 hours per week) work schedule between June 9, 2025 – August 15, 2025.
Experience with SQL and Python (required)
Familiarity with Git/GitHub and version control best practices
Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and basic data warehousing concepts
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Interest in analytics, automation, and media campaign performance
Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Exposure to AWS or GCP and cloud-native tools
