Skechers is a Fortune 500 company that designs and markets a diverse range of lifestyle and performance products. The Assistant Data Analyst Intern will support data processing and analysis for international channels, ensuring data accuracy and contributing to inventory optimization efforts.

Responsibilities

Assist in data collection and processing from international channels under supervision.
Help conduct basic analysis of global data to identify trends and patterns.
Support the development of reports and presentations for inventory optimization.
Learn to use Power BI, Power Pivot, and advanced Excel functions for data analysis.
Assist in maintaining communication between the Data team and various stakeholders.
Develop proficiency in data management tools and techniques.
Gain understanding of international business models and their data requirements.
Improve written and verbal communication skills in a business context.
Adapt to working in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualification

Required

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
Basic understanding of data management principles.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's program in Business Analytics, International Business, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent.

Preferred

Coursework in data analysis, statistics, or business intelligence preferred.
Prior experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) through academic projects or previous internships is a plus.
