Scientific Research Corporation provides innovative solutions to the U.S. government, private industry, and international markets. They are seeking a Data Analyst Intern to develop and implement data models and collaborate on financial forecasts and reports.
Responsibilities
Developing, testing, and implementing interactive data models from a variety of sources
Collaborating with leadership and operations to develop, refine, and adjust financial forecasts; preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; supporting shift from static reports to dynamic and interactive reports
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Financial Management.
Ability to determine and clearly communicate benefits of change in advocacy of process improvements
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose practical solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
Comfortable with autonomy and is self-motivated
Preferred
Experience in building interactive data visualization dashboards using Power BI and similar self-service reporting platforms
Database experience
Advanced Excel experience, including Power Query and Power Pivot. Experience should include M formula language and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
