IGT (NYSE:IGT) is the global leader in gaming, delivering entertaining and responsible gaming experiences. The Data Analyst Intern will contribute to the Data & Insights team by enhancing the cloud-based data ecosystem and working on advanced analytics and data science activities.
Responsibilities
The intern will be contributing on various work streams including analysis of targeted use cases where advanced analytics may apply.
The intern will be working in a cloud-based data and analytics platform and will exercise advanced data and mathematical methods to evolve analytics.
There will also be opportunities in working on DevOps development in Microsoft Azure cloud.
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in an accredited higher education institution; studying Computer Science, Software Engineering or Data Science
Broad understanding of software principles and advanced mathematical concepts
Eagerness to learn and apply data science principles to real-world applications
Strong math skills, analytics, statistics, and data management principles
Experience with Python, SQL, Data management systems, IDEs for data science
