FMC Corporation is a US-based chemical manufacturing company producing solutions for the agricultural, textile, and healthcare industries. They are seeking a motivated Data Analyst Intern to collaborate on designing and presenting Power BI dashboards and charts, contributing to meaningful projects and business decisions.
Responsibilities
Collect and interpret data from various sources.
Identify patterns and trends in data sets.
Work alongside teams within the business to establish business needs.
Define new data collection and analysis processes.
Develop reports and visualizations to effectively communicate data-driven insights.
Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies.
Help develop algorithms and models for data analysis.
Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
Provide technical assistance in relation to data analysis tools and methods.
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding and knowledge of data analysis tools and databases such as SQL and Power BI
Highly analytical with a knack for analysis, math, and statistics.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills for interpreting data.
Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
Ability to perform joins and exploratory data analysis in order to answer business questions posed by internal stakeholders
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master's program in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
Preferred
Ability to code in Python or R
Experience with database design and the basics of database access and administration
Hands on experience profiling data
Experience/knowledge of working within an agile framework
