Central Garden & Pet is a market leader in the Garden and Pet industries, and they are seeking a Data Analyst Intern to support their manufacturing facility. This paid, 8-week summer internship will provide hands-on experience in developing analytics dashboards, collecting and analyzing data, and collaborating with teams to enhance reporting processes.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for operational analytics.
Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to uncover key trends.
Support ongoing reporting needs by creating compelling data visualizations.
Ensure accuracy by performing data validation and quality checks.
Collaborate with teams to optimize reporting processes and enhance efficiency.
Identify opportunities for process improvement using data insights.
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong skills/proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Have the right to work in the U.S without restrictions.
Preferred
Basic knowledge of SAP is a plus
