BNP Paribas is a leading international banking institution committed to sustainability. The Data Analyst Intern will assist in data collection and analysis, support operational discussions, and develop skills in project management and communication within the Canada CEO & COO Office.
Responsibilities
Assist the Head of Territory (HoT) and the COO with data collection, ad-hoc analyses, and special tasks.
Prepare presentations and documents for meetings.
Support discussions with Operations to enhance reports related to Canadian client business.
Actively participate in developing data analysis and business reporting capabilities within the Canada CEO & COO Office.
Use and enhance data analysis skills with tools like Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, and ThinkCell.
Learn to manage projects and priorities, monitor progress, report issues, develop action plans.
Develop strong communication skills by presenting findings to senior leadership and preparing detailed business reports.
Collaborate with multiple teams across the Bank, opening doors to future opportunities.
Qualification
Required
Student in a bachelor’s degree in business administration, communication, or other similar field of study
Knowledge of Powerpoint
Capacity to work with large dataset
Knowledge of English and French, written and spoken
Professional working proficiency in French and English languages are required
Legally eligible to work in the Greater Montreal area
Hold a valid work or study permit if applicable
Physical presence in BNP Paribas’ office(s) is an essential function of this position
