AmeriLife provides insurance and retirement solutions to enhance the lives of pre-retirees and retirees. They are seeking a detail-oriented CDF Inventory & Documentation Specialist to support the use and processes of carrier data feeds, involving data management and analysis to ensure seamless business operations.
Responsibilities
Track and document raw carrier data sources, including frequency, intake methods, column structures, and usage attributes.
Utilize SQL and Excel to analyze carrier data feeds, assess trends, and support the generation of reports that support business decision-making.
Maintain field dictionaries, list dictionaries, data source guides, and consolidation mapping documentation for business use and transparency.
Assist with product, carrier, and affiliate mapping to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Review automated validations to uphold data integrity and identify inconsistencies.
Assist in evaluating and preparing carrier data feeds for business use, ensuring proper formatting and completeness. Confirming data availability and completeness across business products, carriers and sales groups.
Identify and troubleshoot file errors, discrepancies, and modifications in carrier data feeds.
Draft consolidation requirements and delivery requirements for quality control checks before code implementation.
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data querying, analysis, and reporting.
Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams.
Experience in data management, inventory tracking, or documentation development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred
Experience with Alteryx is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with health/life insurance and annuity industry is a plus.
