Co-op, Operations and Customer Center - Innovation and Technology (Fall 2025)

Delta Air Lines is a technical airline company that focuses on safety, innovation, reliability, and customer experience. The Operations & Customer Center (OCC) is seeking qualified co-op students to support Delta’s 24/7 operation through data-driven solutions and IT initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Co-ops will work with aviation professionals, supporting our teams by using data to solve operational business challenges.
  • This OCC Co-op will be assigned to this team which is responsible for delivering IT initiatives for the OCC.
  • This Co-op will work on the NEST team leveraging a technical skill set for development of SQL queries, UAT testing if delivered toolsets and business requirements artifact creation.

Qualification

Required

  • Undergraduate students in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, industrial Engineering or Analytics or similar 4-year degree program.
  • Must be available to work for three alternating semesters in Atlanta, GA, Monday through Friday 8AM – 5PM work schedule.
  • Must be enrolled with educational institution throughout duration of co-op program.
  • Willingness/ability to learn new skills is required - be willing try new things and fail, learn from each experience and improve.
  • Willingness to brainstorm with and leverage expertise of other team members, maintaining a team-first attitude with success of your team as top priority.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and verbal/written communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Must be comfortable working in group and individual settings.
  • Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred

  • Technical skills including software development utilizing Python, Angular or Node.JS.
  • Experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS/ Azure preferred.
