Delta Air Lines is a technical airline company that focuses on safety, innovation, reliability, and customer experience. The Operations & Customer Center (OCC) is seeking qualified co-op students to support Delta’s 24/7 operation through data-driven solutions and IT initiatives.
Responsibilities
Co-ops will work with aviation professionals, supporting our teams by using data to solve operational business challenges.
This OCC Co-op will be assigned to this team which is responsible for delivering IT initiatives for the OCC.
This Co-op will work on the NEST team leveraging a technical skill set for development of SQL queries, UAT testing if delivered toolsets and business requirements artifact creation.
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate students in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, industrial Engineering or Analytics or similar 4-year degree program.
Must be available to work for three alternating semesters in Atlanta, GA, Monday through Friday 8AM – 5PM work schedule.
Must be enrolled with educational institution throughout duration of co-op program.
Willingness/ability to learn new skills is required - be willing try new things and fail, learn from each experience and improve.
Willingness to brainstorm with and leverage expertise of other team members, maintaining a team-first attitude with success of your team as top priority.
Strong organizational, project management, and verbal/written communication skills are essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel & PowerPoint.
Must be comfortable working in group and individual settings.
Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority.
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred
Technical skills including software development utilizing Python, Angular or Node.JS.
Experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS/ Azure preferred.
