The Boston Beer Company is currently hiring a CMMS Data Intern for a 10-week summer internship. The role involves supporting the site’s CMMS transition by assisting with asset data cleansing, validation, and standardization in Maximo, which is critical for accurate asset information to support planning and maintenance execution.
Responsibilities
Clean, validate, and standardize asset hierarchy, preventive maintenance, and bill of material data within Maximo
Review legacy work orders, PMs, and spare parts data to ensure accuracy and completeness
Partner with planners, storeroom, and reliability teams to align data with operational needs
Support Project Wrench initiatives related to CMMS design, data integrity, and implementation readiness
Document data standards and improvement opportunities to support long-term system sustainability
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data organization tools
Ability to learn and navigate CMMS platforms (Maximo experience a plus, not required)
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functional teams
