West Fraser is currently seeking an Automation Data Analytics Intern for the summer of 2026. The successful candidate will work closely with onsite Engineering leaders to tackle real-life challenges in data analytics and improve sawmill efficiency.
Responsibilities
Analytics for OSB sawmill efficiency
Proficient with Python, MS programs including SQL and dashboard design
Qualification
Required
Graduate no later than December 2028 with a degree in Engineering
GPA of 3.00 or higher overall
Desire to perform hands-on work to equipment
Willing and able to perform a variety of tasks
Ability to successfully communicate daily with different levels of roles
Proficient with Python, MS programs including SQL and dashboard design
