West Fraser is currently seeking an Automation Data Analytics Intern for Summer 2026. This role will provide exposure to real-life challenges in the field of data analytics and allow the intern to work closely with onsite Engineering leaders, focusing on analytics for OSB sawmill efficiency.
Responsibilities
Analytics for OSB sawmill efficiency
Proficient with Python, MS programs including SQL and dashboard design
Qualification
Required
Graduate no later than December 2028 with a degree in Engineering
GPA of 3.00 or higher overall
Desire to perform hands-on work to equipment
Willing and able to perform a variety of tasks
Ability to successfully communicate daily with different levels of roles
Proficient with Python, MS programs including SQL and dashboard design
