Regency Centers is a vertically integrated real estate company that owns and operates premier shopping centers. They are seeking an Intern – Analytics to provide hands-on experience in various functions including Analytics, Business Planning, and Accounting, while working closely with experienced professionals to identify process improvements.
Responsibilities
Identify opportunities for process efficiencies or enhancements, including utilization of Power Automate or similar tools
Enhance reporting and analysis of Company KPIs through development of analytical models, including recommendations for visualizations or analytical tools including interactive dashboards
Provide recommendations for machine learning techniques and building predictive models for decision-making and financial/operational reporting
Conclude the internship by delivering a final presentation that highlights your top business case recommendation and its potential impact for Regency Centers
Qualification
Required
Must be a student in good standing enrolled in Masters' degree classes
GPA of at least 3.0 at the time of application
Intermediate level proficiency or higher with current Microsoft Office software (including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint), email, and internet research functionality
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI
Proficient in SQL Server with experience writing and troubleshooting basic queries
Ability to learn new programs and software quickly
Ability to work 20 hours a week, with at least three days of the week in our Jacksonville office (Monday and Tuesday required in office)
Preferred
Passion for data science and delivering data-driven outcomes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Understanding of Machine Learning concepts and tools
Experience with Python or R for data analysis
Familiarity with Cloud (Azure, AWS, Google etc.) platforms
Be enrolled in an industry-related degree program such as Business Analytics, Real Estate or Business Administration
Completion of real estate and/or business/finance courses
