UBS is a leading global wealth manager and universal bank with asset management and investment banking capabilities. The Global Research & Evidence Lab is seeking interns to help incorporate alternative data into investment processes, collaborate on innovative data solutions, and transform structured and unstructured datasets into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
Learn how research analysts and investors could incorporate alternative data products into their investment process
Work closely with a global team of researchers, data engineers, and business analysts on building innovative data solutions that address investment debates
Transform large structured and unstructured data sets into actionable insights
Qualification
Required
is in their penultimate or final year of their bachelor or master's degree
is on track for a 2.1 (UK grading system) or equivalent in their first undergraduate degree
is intellectually curious with strong analytic, quantitative, and critical reasoning skills
has fundamental understanding of financial statement analyses
has advanced excel skills and experience with SQL, R, Python
has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency
