They are seeking a Data Engineer Intern to work collaboratively in an Agile environment, focusing on designing and building data-centric solutions to help educate physicians on AbbVie’s approved products.
Responsibilities
Work collaboratively, as part of an Agile team, with Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Marketing, and other business functions to imagine, design, build, and enhance the models.
On-board, consolidate, cleanse, and structure data for efficient use in reports and analytical applications.
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Engineering or other related field
Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the internship
Expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027
Programming Languages: Java or Python
Preferred
Exposure to database and programming
Java, Python, R, and SQL.
Ability to understand and apply data lake and relational database concepts.
Ability to learn and work with cloud, based technologies like AWS, SnowFlake, Informatica
