Hudson is a market-leading specialty insurer that offers a wide range of property and casualty insurance products. The Business Analytics Intern will support the business intelligence function by assisting with data querying, cleaning, validation, and contributing to the creation of business intelligence reports during a 10-week summer internship program.
Responsibilities
Assist the Business Intelligence team with querying, cleaning, and validating data
Contribute to the creation of Power BI reports and semantic models
Improve pre-existing manual processes through automation
Assisting in cross functional meetings
Ad-hoc tasks and projects within the broader business intelligence function
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a college or university degree with an accredited institution
Excellent written and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
Rising junior or senior at an accredited college or university
Interns will work in-person during the work week from the New York City office located at 100 William Street, following a typical office schedule of a 9am-5pm working day, allowing for a 1-hour lunch break
All hired positions require successfully passing an E-Verify Check
Preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Some knowledge of SQL, Excel, and/or Power BI
Majors in Business Analytics or other Business practices, computer science, information technology, math, statistics, or data science
