The Year-Round Finance Intern supports accounting, reporting, forecasting, financial analysis, program administration, spending controls, and continuous improvement activities for Program, Acquisition, and Product Line teams.
Responsibilities
Development programs dashboard and MPMR
Acquisition program BP tool data entry
Ad hoc financial analysis and modeling
Prepare and publish awards books for new business awards
Generate reclass journal entries to correct errors found in WBS analysis
Create WBS numbers for Acquisition/Development programs based upon approvals received
Administrator of the ACA spending control process
Support team on analysis of actual spending, open commits, etc. regarding WBS spending
Data analysis and trouble-shooting
Support special projects as assigned
Propose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction
Capitalizes on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization and within the site

Qualification
Required
Financial analysis & Modeling
Intermediate Excel
Capability to work within a team
Strong written and oral communication skills
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, General Business, or a related field
Minimum 2.8 GPA
