As a Treasury Analyst Intern, you will work closely with senior team members, gaining hands-on experience in various treasury functions such as investments, capital markets, and risk management.
Responsibilities
Assist in gathering market data and preparing summaries for short-term investment options
Support compliance checks and maintain investment documentation
Participate in investment management meetings and track investment performance
Participate in establishing new investment mandates and perform investment research
Conduct basic research on market trends and funding options
Support preparation of presentations for internal committees
Support funding strategies including commercial paper and debt issuance
Support management of bank relationships
Participate in establishing hedging programs and governance
Assist with daily cash position reporting and reconciliation
Participate in bank account and bank fee management activities
Exposure to learning about modern treasury systems and automation
Help process wire transfers and maintain transaction logs under supervision
Update spreadsheets for cash forecasts and variance analysis
Prepare simple charts and summaries for management reports
Prepare spreadsheets to effectively show financial results and financial forecasts
Help compile reports for liquidity and interest rate risk assessments
Assist in organizing regulatory and internal audit materials
Participate in insurance activities such as risk review and analysis of insurance programs
Gain exposure to Captive insurance program
Ad hoc analysis
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with a major in finance, accounting, risk management or economics from an accredited college/university during the duration of the internship. Internships are not intended for graduating seniors
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)
Preferred
3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
