Vertex Inc. is a remote-first global organization known for its innovative tax technology solutions. The Tax Research Intern role offers hands-on experience in tax complexities, data acquisition, and jurisdictional research while supporting project execution and contributing to product success.

Responsibilities

Gain hands-on experience with tax complexities, data acquisition, jurisdictional research, and database updates.
Audit tax rates, support project execution, and utilize Vertex software tools to contribute to product success.
Complete meaningful projects that align with key business initiatives.

Qualification

Required

Current students pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Math or other Business-related field.
Strong interest in tax law, compliance, and/or the intersection of tax and technology.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel), with strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with core business hours on the East Coast (HQ - King of Prussia, PA)
