They are seeking a Tax Research Intern to gain hands-on experience in tax complexities, data acquisition, and jurisdictional research while supporting project execution and maintaining compliance with tax regulations.

Responsibilities

Keep track of sources where VAT/GST compliance changes are announced and maintain links to the right tax office websites
Monitor these changes in the respective VAT/GST legislation on a continuous basis and obtain information from tax authorities, where needed
Provide daily ad-hoc support to team members maintaining existing countries and returns/reports in our scope
Provide daily ad-hoc support to team members dealing with customer requests
Provide daily ad-hoc support to team members implementing new countries
Actions items and daily activities change based on actual priorities

Qualification

Required

Current students pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, Taxation, Math or another Business-related field
Strong interest in tax law, tax compliance, and/or the intersection of tax and technology
Strong written and verbal communicative skills
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and creative in Microsoft Office (including Excel), with strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with core business hours
