They are seeking a motivated accounting intern to assist with a wide range of duties across Private Equity, Real Assets, and Hedge Fund administration, including analyzing data and preparing financial reports.
Responsibilities
Preparation of more complex funds; begin transition into a Reviewer role
Split review/preparation time with the ratio being dependent upon experience level and department needs
Assist with the research and resolution of issues that arise
Thorough understanding of common tax adjustments associated with private equity funds
Able to operate independently and effectively multi-task
Peer training and providing meaningful feedback in timely manner
Complex ad hoc requests and research
Assist with client expectations
Qualification
Required
Accounting, Finance or Mathematics major
Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Proven ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills
Experienced in Microsoft Office suite
Strong attention to detail
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
