Steve Madden is a designer and marketer of fashion footwear, accessories, and apparel. The Summer Intern in Wholesale Finance will gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting while supporting the finance team at one of the most iconic fashion brands.
Responsibilities
Assist in analyzing financial performance of wholesale accessory sales, including revenue, margins, and costs
Support the preparation of budget and forecasting reports.
Collaborate with sales and inventory teams to track product sales, inventory levels, and related financial impacts.
Update and maintain financial records, databases, and reporting tools to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Assist with cost analysis to evaluate pricing strategies, supplier negotiations, and inventory management.
Provide financial support for various projects as needed, including profitability analysis, operational improvements, and market trend evaluations.
Assist the finance team with month-end closing.
