Danaher Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join their finance team. This role provides hands-on exposure to core accounting and financial processes, supporting daily operations, reporting, and analysis.
Responsibilities
Assist with general ledger maintenance, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations
Support reconciliations of balance sheet accounts at month end
Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Support variance analysis and budget vs. actual reporting
Prepare functional spend actuals for forecast
Compile financial data for management review
Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies
Assist with month end or any audit preparation
Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Junior-level standing required
Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables preferred)
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
