The Payroll Operations Intern will provide operational and administrative support to the Payroll team, handling daily payroll processes and employee-related requests while gaining exposure to payroll systems and procedures.
Responsibilities
Sort and distribute large volume of incoming and outgoing department mail
Organize, assign, scan, and submit cases with Dayforce for garnishment processing and tax tracers
Answer Service Now cases related to the re-issuance of pay statements and annual tax statements
Complete employee verifications not processed by the work number
Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
Expand development opportunities as each task is mastered in preparation for the next level
Qualification
Required
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of internship
Must have the ability to work all scheduled shifts with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred
Have at least one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, and/or Outlook)
