Coaction Global is a unique mix of leaders and thinkers in the insurance industry, seeking an Underwriting Operations intern. In this role, you will support the underwriting process, assist underwriters, and learn to propose recommendations based on your understanding of the underwriting operations.
Responsibilities
Computes and rates premium for new, renewal and/or endorsement business
Delivers initial pricing to your Underwriting partner
Interacts directly with underwriters to assist in underwriting analysis and documentation
Services accounts, including resolving agents’ inquiries, complaints, and requests
Performs policy processing activities
Performs applicable procedures to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards
Orders and obtains various reports, such as MVR, D&B, etc
Qualification
Required
Eligible candidates MUST be rising juniors with a targeted graduation date of May 2028 (2026, 2027, or 2029 graduates will not be eligible)
Students must currently be in pursuit of their Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or a related field
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and deliver to deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt style and messaging to effectively communicate with professionals at all levels
Ability to learn quickly, make an immediate impact, and provide value-added services to the Company
