PSEG is one of the country’s largest energy companies, and they are seeking a Summer 2026 Staff Intern for the Utility Finance department. The role involves working as an analyst on the Utility Long-range plan team, focusing on developing and maintaining PSE&G’s 10-year business plan and retrofitting models to a new planning software.
Responsibilities
Assignments will include working alongside professionals in the following areas:
Corporate Enterprise Planning – admin team responsible overseeing Oracle
Capital planners of different types of investments across the Utility
IT & Consultants responsible for the new software’s implementation
Qualification
Required
Actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in Finance or economics and graduating between December 2026 and May 2029
Completed sophomore level course work for consideration
Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
Preferred
3.0 GPA
Experience using Microsoft Excel or similar software
Familiarity with Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flows)
