IDEX Corporation is a company that offers diverse opportunities across various fields. They are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant Intern to support their Corporate Accounting team, providing hands-on experience with financial processes and reporting during the summer internship.
Responsibilities
Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Record daily cash activity and other corporate transactions
Support intercompany accounting, including reconciliations and weekly statements
Assist with variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
Partner with Accounts Payable and field teams as a corporate liaison
Maintain schedules, documentation, and audit support materials
Contribute to process improvements and special projects
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Previous internship or coursework in accounting or finance
Strong Excel and analytical skills
High attention to detail and accuracy with strong organizational abilities
Excellent communication skills
Preferred
This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
