Sr. Investment Management Internship (Summer 2026)

Zurich Alternative Asset Management, LLC is looking for a Senior Investments Management Intern to join their team in the Summer of 2026. The intern will contribute to the ongoing work of the hedge fund, private equity, and real estate teams, gaining exposure to various asset classes and working on specific projects.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the ongoing work of the hedge fund, private equity, and real estate teams.
  • Work directly with each member of the ZAAM team.
  • Focus on 1, possibly 2 asset classes with specific project work and support for that group.
  • Learn high-level functional roles related to Asset Management processes and procedure.
  • Gain exposure to Alternative Asset systems, such as Yardi, Allocator, Burgiss, Dynamo, and Various Data Analysis tools.
  • Sharpen skills in Excel.
  • Develop effective communication (written and verbal).
  • Conduct market and industry research.
  • Engage in analytical work.
  • Present findings to the entire ZAAM group via a summer research project.
  • Gain exposure to Senior business partners throughout the organization.

Qualification

Required

  • Currently enrolled in an advanced degrees program (MBA, MS, or Ph.D.) or will be enrolled by the fall of 2026
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution
  • Be legally eligible to work in the U.S. indefinitely

Preferred

  • Currently pursuing an advanced degree in any Corporate Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant STEM areas
  • Taken coursework in finance, accounting, statistics, and/or investments
  • Taken coursework in programming (e.g., Python, R), data visualization (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Power BI), and analytics tools
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills; experience summarizing and presenting information in a way that provides clarity and interest
  • Possess Quantitative/programming background
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and professional maturity
  • Adhere to confidentiality with the handling of sensitive materials
  • Be self-motivated and able to work independently in support of the project and team goals
  • Possess problem-solving skills, including identification of issues, and offering tangible solutions
  • Show familiarity with private equity, hedge fund, and real estate concepts
