Farmers & Merchants Bank of Long Beach is seeking an SLG Intern to work closely with Relationship Managers in evaluating the internal workings of a loan production office. The intern will learn to analyze financial statements and credit data while participating in client interactions and basic due diligence processes.
Responsibilities
Learn how to understand and analyze credit data, financial statements and pertinent information for credit worthiness
Learn how to understand and spread financial statements and Federal tax returns on CASH Insight of borrowers and guarantors
Learn how to understand and analyze financial data such as revenue growth, profitability, cash flow, quality of management, and industry market share
Learn how to understand and compare liquidity, profitability, and credit histories of businesses being evaluated
Learn how to understand and monitor credit risk by periodically evaluating financial trends, credit bureau reports, pay habits, and other sources of information of the borrower and guarantor(s)
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent required
Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
Privacy Laws
