Jabil is hiring a part-time Purchasing Intern to support its Supply Chain and Procurement teams in a manufacturing environment. The role assists with purchasing activities, supplier management, materials planning, and inventory analysis while contributing to procurement processes and cross-functional projects.
Responsibilities
Support purchasing activities to ensure materials are available to meet production and business requirements
Assist with the creation and maintenance of purchase orders and supplier communications
Analyze inventory, material requirements, and supply chain data to support procurement decisions
Monitor supplier performance, including delivery, quality, and service metrics
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Planning, Operations, and Business Unit teams on procurement-related projects
Assist with resolving material shortages, delivery challenges, and invoice discrepancies
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on procurement, supplier management, and inventory control
Maintain purchasing and material master data within company systems
Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in:

+ Operations Management
+ Business Administration
+ Industrial Engineering
+ Logistics
+ Manufacturing Engineering
+ Or a related field

+ December 2026
+ May 2027

+ Recent 2026 graduates may also be considered
Preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and reporting
Familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to organize and interpret data to support business decisions
Ability to build effective working relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams
Experience with ERP systems, purchasing platforms, or data visualization tools is a plus
Engage with members of Jabil’s leadership team and participate in events related to professional development, networking & socializing, and community engagement.
