Albany International Corp. is offering a summer internship program designed to provide firsthand working knowledge of manufacturing and business activities. The Purchasing Intern will support Supply Chain professionals by engaging in various tasks such as process improvement, procurement support, and invoice maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Process Improvement
  • Planning and Scheduling
  • Procurement support
  • Invoice maintenance
  • Order placement
  • Past Due Order maintenance

Qualification

Required

  • Completed at least two years (three years preferred) toward a BS in Business, Supply Chain Management, or other related field
  • GPA of 3.0 (3.5 preferred)
  • Team and people skills that are required to ensure efficient execution of tasks
  • Problem solving skills
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Effective communication
  • Well organized and disciplined
  • Able to identify problems and willing to make decisions
