John Deere is a manufacturing company that designs and produces lawn, garden, electric, agriculture, and construction equipment. They are seeking a Part-Time Student in Accounting to support financial reporting and process improvements while working alongside their full-time staff.
Responsibilities
Support Precision Upgrades and Solutions as a Service teams
Assist with month-end financial reporting
Prepare monthly financial / cost reports
Incorporate process improvements, data analytics, and automation into processes, where available
Gather, review, and analyze financial information
Follow-up with current project owners for financial validation
Qualification
Required
In pursuit of Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Graduation date of May 2026 or later.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly.
Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly.
Must be able to commute to the work location in Moline, Illinois on a daily basis year-round
High level of attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.
Has general understanding of Accounting principles.
Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. local accredited college/university.
