Foot Locker, Inc. is a leading footwear and apparel retailer looking to hire a motivated Finance and Accounting Intern for their Operations Finance area. This internship provides hands-on experience in financial analysis, accounting processes, and reporting while working with a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of financial analysis, reports, and account reconciliations
Support the Operations Finance teams with month-end accounting and close processes
Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Aid in the creation of forecasts, comparing actual results to budgeted figures and providing insights into discrepancies
Help identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiencies
Support the reconciliation of operational accounts
Provide general administrative support to the finance and accounting team as needed
Qualification
Required
Pursuing Bachelor's or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field from an accredited college or university
Be a Winter 2026 or Spring 2027 grad
Be available to work remotely Monday-Friday (40 hours a week)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products (i.e. Excel, Word, etc.)
Write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial concepts
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges
Strong organizational and time management skills
