Macquarie Group is a global financial services group operating in 30 markets, and they are seeking an off-cycle intern to work alongside experienced colleagues in their Venture Capital team. The role involves contributing to venture capital activity, financial analysis, and market research while gaining hands-on experience in the internet and software sectors.
Responsibilities
Contribute to venture capital activity through financial analysis, company valuations, and market research
Develop technical skills through a range of activities, including preparing investment memos and presentation materials, due diligence on prospective portfolio companies, financial modelling and valuation work for active and potential investments, and sector-specific research to identify emerging trends and investment opportunities
Qualification
Required
You are in your final year of university (bachelor's or master's), or have graduated within the last year with an excellent academic record
A basic understanding of valuation, accounting, and financial modelling
A strong interest in venture capital
Previous internship experience in venture capital, private equity, M&A, or deal advisory
Clear and confident communication skills with fluency in English
Preferred
Additional European languages would be an advantage
