In this Accounting Internship, you will support the Accounting team, work with experienced professionals, and develop skills in Accounting and Finance within the Ordnance Systems Business.
Responsibilities
Support the Accounting team in everyday Accounting and Compliance processes
Report to the Assistant Controller and will work directly with various leaders and specialists
Have an interest in developing professional skills in Accounting, Finance and Government Compliance in a manufacturing environment in the Defense industry
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in an Accounting, Finance or related field
Must be able to work a minimum of 16 hrs per week if internship is continued through the school
Solid computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently under deadlines
Preferred
Solid knowledge of accounting theory
Ability to follow directions
Attention to detail
Sound Professional Judgement
