Group 1 Automotive is offering an exciting internship opportunity for aspiring professionals to join their M&A team. As an M&A Intern, you will work closely with experienced dealmakers, gaining hands-on experience in all stages of the M&A process, from deal sourcing to negotiation and integration.
Responsibilities
Conduct research and analysis on potential acquisition targets and market trends.
Assist in financial modeling and valuation analysis.
Prepare presentations and investment memos for senior management and stakeholders.
Support due diligence efforts, including data gathering and analysis.
Assist in the negotiation and execution of M&A transactions.
Support integration planning and post-merger integration activities.
Qualification
Required
Junior or Senior status currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Preferred Minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
