Lockheed Martin is a leading aerospace and defense company, and they are seeking a Materials Finance Summer Intern in Orlando, FL. The intern will work closely with a Financial Cost Analyst, participating in program organization, budgeting, analysis, and preparing financial reports.
Responsibilities
Work closely with an experienced Financial Cost Analyst
Performing the day-to-day activities in areas of program organization, planning, scheduling, and budgeting
Analysis, management reporting, baseline revisions, data maintenance, and metrics
Observe the use of financial information systems and the preparation of applicable financial reports
Perform assignments in the areas of data collection, data entry, and preparation of reports for management reviews during the normal Earned Value (EV) monthly cycle.
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelors in Business/Finance/Accounting
Finance background/experience
Must have ability to obtain a secret security clearance
Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical, and presentation skills
Aptitude to facilitate results, self-starter attitude, process oriented, structured problem solver
Proficient Excel / database/ reporting experience
