Ryder System, Inc. is a leading provider of transportation and logistics solutions, seeking IT Audit Interns to assist with various IT audit projects. The role involves performing IT audit procedures, preparing working papers, and communicating results to management.
Responsibilities
Learn the fundamentals of IT auditing and business operations through formal and on-the-job training and participation in SOX or other compliance, IT process, vendor, and IT general controls audit assignments
Perform IT audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing/analyzing evidence, and documenting auditee processes and procedures
Prepare working papers, conduct interviews, review documents, and compose summary memos
Identify, develop, and document issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed
Communicate or assist in communicating the results of projects via written reports and oral presentations to management
Qualification
Required
Successful candidates must be at least an incoming Junior pursuing a BA/BS in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, with coursework in accounting, auditing, economics, data analytics, computer programming, or other financial or IT-centric curriculum
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
