They are hiring for a 4-month internship in Retail Seed Accounting, where the intern will perform financial accounting tasks, assist in month-end close processes, and provide financial analysis to support strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
Perform the day-to-day financial accounting and month-end close processes, journal entries and account reconciliations
Identify and implement best practices regarding execution of accounting policies and procedures
Prepare and Review Financial Reporting for the Field Operations and Finance Teams
Work directly with Field Operations to assist in correcting and explaining accounting issues and concerns
Work with Foundation team as needed as it relates to the accounting team
Provide financial and business analysis to support key strategic objectives and implement reporting tools to aid management
Perform other duties and projects, as assigned
Qualification
Required
Working towards attaining a bachelor's degree in accounting at an accredited institution
Time Management Skills balancing school and professional work
A willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Catastrophic coverages including life, accidental death and dismemberment, and business travel accident insurance for a position of at least three months in duration and more than 30 hours per week
