Skechers is a Fortune 500® company that designs and markets a diverse product portfolio of lifestyle and performance footwear. They are seeking an Internal Audit Intern to assist with financial, compliance, and operational audits while learning essential skills and contributing to the internal audit documentation and testing.

Responsibilities

Work with Internal Audit team members and select financial and operational personnel in performing audit tasks.
Learn about risk-based audit function across various operational processes.
Contribute to internal audit documentation and testing while working closely with the US based team.

Qualification

Required

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
Interest in pursuing Certified Public Account (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Basic understanding of accounting and auditing principles/standards.
Ability to use and navigate Microsoft Office suite software programs.
Anticipated graduation date of Winter 2025 or Spring 2026.
Eligible to work in the US without restrictions.
Available to participate in our internship program from end of May/June to August/September 2025 in our Manhattan Beach, CA corporate office.

Preferred

Previous internship experience or coursework in auditing is preferred.
