ArcelorMittal is a global leader in steel and mining, and they are seeking a Summer Internal Audit Intern to support their Internal Audit team. This role provides hands-on exposure to audit methodology, SOX compliance, and manufacturing operations while assisting in executing financial, operational, and compliance audits.
Responsibilities
Assist in executing internal audits under supervision
Support SOX testing and documentation of internal controls
Perform data analysis and assist in audit testing procedures
Help document processes, risks, and controls
Participate in audit meetings and special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Basic understanding of accounting or internal controls
Interest in internal audit, risk, or compliance
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proficiency in Excel; exposure to SAP or data analytics tools is a plus
