As an Internal Audit Intern, you will work closely with the audit team to ensure effective internal controls and compliance processes while gaining valuable exposure to the audit process and contributing to business improvements.
Responsibilities
Participate in planning, fieldwork, and reporting for audit and SOX compliance activities, ensuring objectives are met under supervision
Prepare and maintain audit workpapers in accordance with department standards, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness
Assist in evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with corporate policies and procedures
Help identify audit issues and root causes, recommending improvements for internal controls and processes
Participate in remediation efforts to ensure corrective action plans are developed and implemented by relevant business units
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
Basic understanding of internal auditing, SOX compliance, and financial reporting processes
Ability to prepare detailed workpapers and ensure accuracy in audit documentation
Strong analytical skills to identify audit issues and recommend solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with business units and presenting findings
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, as we do not offer sponsorship
Must be available for the entire duration of the internship program, from May 18-July 30, 2026
Preferred
Previous internship or work experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis
Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables, financial modeling, and data analysis
Ability to handle detailed financial data and prepare accurate reports
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying patterns, root causes, and potential risks
Familiarity with SOX compliance, audit processes, and internal control principles
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and adjust to shifting priorities
