They are seeking a Portfolio Asset Management Summer Intern to contribute to the management of renewable energy assets, enhance financial performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Supervise a portfolio of sophisticated renewable energy assets
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial results while balancing risk
Enhance and automate core processes and collaborations within AES Clean Energy
Act as the Owner’s Representative for assigned AES Clean Energy project portfolios
Manage assigned project and portfolio’s financial matters (P&L responsibility), and budgets
Support outage resolution or mitigation
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree
Innately curious, quick learner, and possesses strong analytical skills
Strong teammate, proactive and capable of driving projects forward
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify sophisticated topics
Proficient in forming persuasive arguments and addressing diverse partners
Understanding of energy market, and passion for the energy transition and a greener future
Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, analytical and time management skills
Diligent and self-motivated with strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Understands project finance, legal contracts, accounting, and is proficient in Microsoft Office
